Kildoag Pottery

Kildoag Pottery was founded by Ursula Mc Givern and Adrian Brothers. They focus on creating individual bespoke handmade ceramic pieces using alternative firing methods such as Raku and saggar firings.

Mary is a self taught artist. She lives in Clonmany, Co Donegal on the beautiful Inishowen Peninsula where she has opened her Studio /Gallery to the public to  visit and view and purchase her work.

Audrey Doherty Millinery

Audrey Doherty studied Millinery at Kensington & Chelsea College, London under Kristen Scott and visiting tutors such as Rachel Skinner, Andrew Bristow, Caroline Morris, Julie Rook and Jane Smith, as well as Jane’s Summer Theatrical Millinery courses. Audrey’s first Millinery teacher was Chloe Belcham, whose methods and techniques were strictly traditional.

John Quigley Artist

John Quigley is a self taught artist. He draws his inspiration from Art Nouveau, Irish mythology, Irish Celtic manuscript decoration, stained glass, the Irish landscape which he fuses together to create his work.

Natasha Duddy Glass Designs

Natasha runs a well established contemporary Glass Design Company based in the North West Ireland. She designs and creates unique pieces of kiln fused dichroic glass

Designed using a variety of glass fusing and kiln forming techniques. She  creates vibrant and colourful jewellery, bespoke wall art pieces, one off commissions and stunning giftware.

ABOUT DESIGNERS OF THE NORTH

Designers of the North is a collective of six designers whose  creative work is in various disciplines.

The group consist of members from both Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland.

Though from different places they are all living, working and producing their creations in thegeographical far North of Ireland on the edge of Europe.

This Northern landscape and it’s wild beauty, changing light,unpredictable weather,vibrant colours  and rugged coastline

 have an impact on all their senses, influences and creative decisions when designing their individual works making them truly
